Bridgeport Magnetics™ is a registered trademark of Tortran Inc. founded in Bridgeport, CT in 1986.
We specialize in the design and manufacturing of toroidal power transformers, current sensing transformers (CT's) and inductors. Most of our products utilize cores made of grain oriented silicon steel strips, powder iron or ferrite.
Since no special tooling is required when winding toroidal transformers, many of our customers have found that our full custom designed transformers and chokes can be less expensive than using a standard design also in quantities as low as 100 pieces. Full Custom design power transformers are available up to 20,000 VA. For large volume requirements we work closely with our Chinese partner to be able to offer you highly competitive prices.
